The Fastpette V2 and Fastpette Pro function the same way. Both units are compatible with the same filters and tubes. They also have the same speed and dispensing modes. The Fastpette Pro has a LCD display that shows the units battery life, set speed, and mode. The V2 does not have a display. It uses manual switches to change the speed/mode and has a red light to indicate when in use or connected to a charger.
The Fastpette Pro batteries can easily be replaced beneath the battery cover. The V2 battery pack is soldered to the wiring inside of the unit and is more complicated to replace.
